Awesome 3 3/4” Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from the hell creek formation of SD. Measurement was done on a ruler so might be a little over or under the 3 3/4” mark. Tooth was in some pieces and had to be put back together. Tooth does have some restoration. About 1 3/8” on one side of the serrated edge from the tip down has been restored. Some small spots throughout the tooth have been patched. And some small spots on the base of the tooth have been restored as well. I would say maximum of 15% restoration, probably less. Putty has been placed in the hollow of the tooth for stability.
Even tho this tooth has some restoration it is still a KILLER large T-Rex tooth. Don’t let this one slip past you.
